My journey
Welcome! Here’s a little snippet of my own origin story:
My neuroplasticity journey began in February 2017 when I began rewiring my brain as a last attempt to heal after many other failed modalities, and a particularly gnarly health crash following the birth of my twins in 2016.
The first 4 months of rewiring launched me into a state of soaring bliss I hadn’t thought possible, especially as I still had all my symptoms, and was returning to parenting my 5 small children and managing living with my biggest PTSD trigger - my husband at the time.
Shortly thereafter, a cluster of stressful circumstances coupled with a fawn response I was unaware of,
tipped me into a deep crash at my 5 month mark. I lost most of my brain function over the next 6 months as my brain refused to create any DOSE chemistry or respond to my tools. I spent the next few years slowly rebuilding my brain from the ground up, through several more circumstance related relapses.
In that process I realized that I had never developed a healthy ego (sense of self, agency, and natural drive) due to religious and childhood trauma. The more I healed old traumas and built a strong and robust connection to who I was within - a worthy, whole, capable and valid person - the healthier my body and mind became.
When I began coaching in 2019, it became very clear that what I had observed in my own journey was also universal - the correlation between our beliefs, values, and perceptions (informed by our individual life experiences), and our habitual brain and nervous states play a dominant role in our health as human beings.
And thus began my passion for creating an in depth, personal, trauma and circumstance inclusive neuroplastic approach.
My goal is to offer a path to a vibrant life for my clients, through a well informed, nuanced, and personal application of neuroplasticity, nervous system regulation, and trauma healing.
You are the medicine.
